12-SD trip to Andalusia Academy
Those students that turned up to support the project were keen and did CAB CATs proud. We spent the day assisting in the Andalusia Academy primary school. It was their last day of term and staff and older secondary students were observing Ramadan. It reminded me of my school days when the last day of term was spent playing and watching movies. We played sleeping lions and duck duck goose and the contraversial lions and gazelles which was stopped after an over enthusiastic grab. As well as this, students and CAB staff moved furniture, took down displays and photocopied what seemed like a never ending supply of learning diaries. Our students did us proud, their behaviour was impecable and the staff at the academy were very very grateful. A community project well done.
